With just a few weeks to go until the walleye opener on May 11, anticipation is running high. The warm conditions are shaping up for a very productive opener, with stable weather and increasing water temperatures. Anglers can expect walleye to be transitioning from their spawning grounds to their post-spawn staging areas in the coming weeks.
